Refer a Friend is a program where you can share your love for IQOS and the benefits of a smoke-free life, by recommending IQOS and VEEV to your friends/family members.
Your friends and family members must be aged 18 or over and currently smoke or vape.
You send a link and discount code to your friend/family member using WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Twitter or email.
Your friend/family member has the option to buy an IQOS device straight away or to sign up for a trial of an IQOS Refreshed DUO.
If your friend/family member buys an IQOS device, then you will receive a ‘thanks’ from us in the form of a dollar-value discount.
We will send the discount code to you by email. The discount code is valid for 12 months from the date the discount code was issued. You can use this discount code against any IQOS products on iqos.co.nz, excluding tobacco sticks.
If you’ve been enjoying your IQOS smoke-free experience and want to encourage your friend/family member to start their smoke-free journey too, you do the following:
- Check with your family member/friend that you have their permission to send them a referral code for IQOS
- Click on ‘Refer’ on iqos.co.nz, where you’ll be prompted to log in to your IQOS account
- Once you’ve logged in, you’ll need to click on ‘Copy Code’ and then choose how you would prefer to send a message to your friend/family member. You can choose Facebook Messenger, Twitter Direct Message, WhatsApp or Email.
- When you have sent your referral(s), they will appear in your dashboard on this page. You’ll be able to see which friends/family members you’ve referred and which referrals you’ve been rewarded for.
We haven’t set a limit on the number of friends that you can refer but they must all be aged 18 years or over and are smokers or vapers.
However, we have capped the rewards you may receive. This is set at a maximum of 25 referrals per 12-month period, where your friend/family member buys an IQOS vaping or heated-tobacco device.
They will receive $20 off on IQOS DUO or $10 off on IQOS VEEV.
The discount your friend/family member receives is valid for 30 days from the date it is sent to them.
You will receive a $20 reward voucher via email if your friend purchases an IQOS DUO or a $10 reward voucher via email if your friend purchases an IQOS VEEV. The reward discount is valid for 12 months from the date of issue. Each voucher must be used in full in a single transaction.
It does not matter which device your friend purchases, you will be rewarded based on their purchase.
As a referrer, you will still receive a dollar-value discount, which we will send to you by email. The reward discount is valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
Each reward discount voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
The friend/family discount is valid for 30 days from the send date.
Legally, we cannot discount tobacco products in New Zealand.
