Updates coming to iqos.co.nz: What You Need to Know

Important changes are coming from 17 June 2025 due to new government vaping regulations as part of an effort to reduce youth vaping.

No More Product Images Display

You’ll notice that product images will no longer be displayed on the website. While this may feel like a big shift, rest assured that all factual product information remains available to help guide your purchase decisions.

No Promotions

Vaping products can no longer be given away for free or discounted. Promotional offers will no longer be available.

IQOS PLUS

IQOS PLUS will no longer be available as of 13 June 2025.

Despite these changes, a lot remains unchanged:

All the products you know will continue to be available, and the checkout process remains as smooth and secure as ever.

Disposable vape ban

Disposable vapes will be banned from 17 June 2025. Specifically, this includes vaping devices that:

• cannot be refilled by the user by filling the device with a vaping substance; or
• cannot be refilled by the user by replacing a changeable pod, cartridge, or similar container; or
• cannot be recharged by the user

Display limitations in Specialist Vape Retailers and General Retailers

Specialist Vape Retailers including IQ VAPE Newmarket, will need to ensure vaping products aren’t visible from outside their stores. This means the storefront and store layout may look a bit different. Vaping products will need to be hidden from view in general retail outlets such as dairies, supermarkets, and petrol stations.

Email communications

Promotional emails will no longer be available.

Promotions and discount

Vaping products can no longer be given away for free or discounted in all channels.
