Refer a Friend Terms & Conditions

The following terms “Philip Morris”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Philip Morris (New Zealand) Limited of 46 Sale Street, Auckland 1010.

Only registered users (“Users”) may participate as a referrer (“Referrer”) in the Refer a Friend programme (“Programme”). The following terms “you”, “your”, “customer” and “consumer” means you and any other legally authorised person who makes a purchase from iqos.co.nz and registers as a User or orders Products under your Account. Friend (“Friend”) means any person referred by you to iqos.co.nz under this programme who is aged 18+ and a smoker or vaper. All products (“Products”) offered for sale on iqos.co.nz are exclusively for consumers that are at least 18 years old, are smokers or vapers and New Zealand residents.

Philip Morris reserves the right to amend or terminate the programme at any time and without notice. Any changes to the programme, or new terms and conditions, will be available on the iqos.co.nz website. The terms and conditions on that website at the time a referrer or friend first uses the programme, become the applicable terms and conditions.

By participating in the programme, you accept the following terms and conditions:

  1. Application of terms/eligibility

    • 1.1. A referrer may only participate in the programme if you are:
      • (a) a smoker or vaper aged at least 18 years of age; and
      • (b) a registered IQOS User on our database.
    • 1.2. Before referring any persons to us under this programme, you must ensure that you have that person’s consent to do so.
    • 1.3. Any friend referred to us under this programme must also be:
      • (a) aged 18+ and a smoker or vaper; and
      • (b) a first-time IQOS purchaser.

  2. IQOS Refer a Friend Discount Codes and Reward Codes

    • 2.1. Philip Morris reserves the right to refuse the issue of any code to a referrer or the use of a referrer’s code by a friend at any time, if Philip Morris reasonably believes that the referrer, or friend, is abusing this programme or is otherwise in breach of these terms and conditions.
    • 2.2. Friend/Family Discount Codes (“Friend Codes”)
      • • Friend Codes cannot be used for device upgrades.
      • • Friend Codes are for the exclusive use of the person receiving it and cannot be traded, sold or publicised by any means whatsoever.
      • • Friend Codes cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount code or offer.
    • 2.3. Referrer Rewards (“IQOS Reward s”)
      • • IQOS Rewards earned by you as part of this programme can be redeemed for devices and consumables, excluding tobacco sticks.
